Manager-in-charge, overall management oversight, key business line, operational control & review, risk management, finance & accounting, IT, compliance, AML / CTF A lecturer in both Canada and Hong Kong at university level, Mr. Weir currently practices in commercial, property and banking law with an emphasis on trusts and pensions.

In addition to his legal career, Mr. Weir has served as Director of Listed Public Companies and has taken up advisory and directorship roles for both local and international firms.

Christopher has lived in Asia-Pacific for the past 25 years. There, as a senior investment banker, he established institutional equity teams and products, created and marketed brand content and was an account manager for some of the biggest global accounts.

During a seven year posting in Singapore, Christopher was Deutsche Bank’s senior account manager to the Government of Singapore Investment Corp and Temasek, the two local Sovereign Wealth Funds. In this role, he co-ordinated value-add coverage from all Asian and global products and teams.

Grateful for the mental discipline and physical endurance that has allowed Chris to complete 22 marathons, 16 ultra-marathons and run 250km through the Gobi Desert, he raises money each year running an ultramarathon on his birthday and plays hockey, a sport which instilled in him the immense value of teamwork.

Extensive experience in corporate finance, venture investments, telecoms and manufacturing in China and South-East Asia.

Since 2013, she has been active as an M&A advisor working with SFC and MAS licensed firms; an angel investor in a number of startups.

Currently a director of Swanland.AI, an investment company in Hong Kong focusing on Artificial Intelligence.

Previous to that, she was CEO of Tsing-Tech Innovations worked with major telco’s and MNC’s in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Engaged in the equity investment business since 1992; possesses 30 years of industry experience and has participated in over 85 investment projects.

Founding member of Goldman Sach’s first Asian private equity fund; served as GS Head of China High Technology and Executive Director in the Principal Investment Area.

Former Chairman and CEO of Tom.com, TKK Symphony Acquisition and CM Seven Star Acquisition Corps.
